Unfortunately the Friends of the Dell support group has been dissolved and the future of the Dell is, as a result of this, unsure in terms of management and responsibility for maintenance. Recently there have been several reported “near miss” incidents between skateboarders and motor vehicles in the vicinity of the junction of Lees Moor Meadows and Lees Moor Road. Whilst such activity is obviously illegal it is also extremely dangerous and should be discouraged wherever possible.

The Village Council has established a Community Fund and applications are invited from local groups and organisations or individuals who are engaged in exceptional sporting, artistic or voluntary work.
